As a Centre Manager, you will oversee daily operations at a prestige repair centre in Gosford.

The Opportunity

We seek an experienced individual to take accountability of this site and control all activities, ensuring timely and correct completion of work, quality repairs, customer care, and satisfaction. Your goal will be to maximise profitability and reputation while maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Health and Safety:
    • Maintain a safe site by adhering to WHS management system guidelines.
    • Report and record any safety incidents or near misses and take necessary actions.
    • Follow all environmental policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service and Stakeholder Management:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work providers.
    • Monitor scores and feedback and take action as required.
    • Walk clients through repairs upon collection.
    • Maintain positive relationships with work providers.
  • Quality and Vehicle Management:
    • Repair vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
    • Conduct final QA inspection.
    • Resolve quality or safety concerns.
    • Carry out comprehensive and accurate quotes.
    • Inspect vehicles upon arrival and update Quoting/Management System.
    • Order parts via parts management/ordering system and process invoices, credit notes, and returns.
    • Label and store parts accordingly.
  • Production Workshop Management:
    • Oversee workshop production to achieve targets and ensure vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
    • Proactively manage incoming/outgoing vehicles to maximise capacity.
    • Ensure vehicles are repaired according to Job Sheet, Repair Method, and SOP.
    • Use consumables and materials efficiently to avoid wastage.
  • P&L, Reporting, and Administration:
    • Ensure site profitability, prepare/review P&Ls, budgets, ARC, job costings, KPIs, management reports.
    • Submit EOM & OEM reporting accurately and on time.
    • Accurately invoice clients/work providers within invoicing timelines.
    • Ensure subcontractors comply with AMA requirements.
    • Advise clients of monies prior to vehicle collection and collect payment.
  • Leadership and People Management:
    • Build and maintain positive work relationships and culture.
    • Update time keeping system to reflect absences.
    • Oversee team on site, including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, employee misconduct/grievances, and team member qualifications/licences.
