Job Title: Commercial Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Counsel to join our team at Marsh & McLennan Companies. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our businesses, ensuring that we operate in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and professional legal advice to all aspects of the Marsh & Mercer Australia businesses
  • Work on contracts with clients, suppliers, and the insurance market
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize liability exposure
  • Supervise and develop junior team members
  • Liaise with the legal team and corporate group to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Proactive and highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and accurately to meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with high-level writing and communication skills
  • Ability to draft and edit concisely
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
