Automotive Parts Interpreter Job Summary

The role of an Automotive Parts Interpreter is a critical component of any dealership group, requiring extensive knowledge of automotive parts sales and electronic catalogues.

We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our multi-franchised Dealership Group on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have prior dealership experience, with the ability to deliver prompt service to internal and external clients.

Key duties of the Parts Interpreter include:

  • Front and back counter sales
  • Retail & Trade sales via phone
  • Maintaining constant communication with customers and workshop technical staff
  • Ordering of parts for both internal and external customers
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have prior experience in a similar position, preferably within a dealership setting.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently. You should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8-5, with occasional Saturdays 9-12, paid as overtime. The department has a great size, with 18 staff members, providing ample opportunities for growth and development.
