Job Description

Windermere Child and Family Services is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention and Therapy Services team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support to children aged 0-12 with complex disabilities and developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Utilize a coaching approach with families to support them in implementing strategies and accessing resources.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support individual consumer caseloads.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years.
  • Participate in monthly graduate meetings for case study review, professional development, and peer support.
  • Engage in fortnightly supervisions/mentoring sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in Occupational Therapy with current and ongoing registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-12 with a variety of clinical and developmental needs.
  • Ability to build trusting working relationships with children, families, and the Early Intervention and Therapy Service team.
  • Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe, and accessible.
  • Right to Work in Australia.
