Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced underground engineer to join our team as a Planning Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning functions of the underground operations, ensuring all safety, production and cost targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare stope designs, level plan layouts and mining instructions as required to meet the operational mining schedule.
• Ensure mine plans are completed considering ventilation, infrastructure and pastefill requirements.
• Develop underground design optimisations, sensitivities, and reports.
• Guide and communicate planning guidance to the Production Team, assisting with weekly schedule development.
• Assist with project collaboration and coordination across multiple departments.

Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
Completed a WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency, or ability to obtain one.
Strong underground engineering experience, preferably in gold operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software such as Deswik and Ventsim.
Possess a manual valid Driver's License.
