About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations and mechanical maintenance services on our construction equipment. You will also be required to attend to production breakdowns, liaise with technical support staff, and complete and submit relevant documentation and reporting paperwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and mechanical maintenance services on construction equipment
  • Attend to production breakdowns and undertake diagnostic work
  • Liaise with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
  • Complete and submit relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments
Requirements
  • Relevant trade certificate
  • Intermediate PC skills, ability to analyze technical data and reports
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads
