Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluation and mechanical maintenance service and upgrades on a broad range of Hitachi machinery. You will also be part of a build team commissioning new equipment and liaising with technical support staff to achieve the most efficient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluation and mechanical maintenance service and upgrades on a broad range of Hitachi machinery
- Attend to production breakdowns and undertake diagnostic work
- Be part of a build team commissioning new equipment
- Liaise with technical support staff to achieve the most efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
- Completion and submission of all relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, peers and other departments
- Identify continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
Requirements
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Intermediate PC Skills, ability to analyze technical data and reports
- Good communication skills
- Have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes
- Strong ability to adapt yourself to different teams, rosters, environments and workloads
- Ensure that you provide 100% customer satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders, branches & suppliers within the HCA family.
