Water Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering comprehensive assessments of groundwater resources and providing practical engineering solutions for mining projects.

As a Water Resources Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake hydrogeological assessments including site investigations, the interpretation of data, groundwater conceptualisations and reporting.
  • Provide technical experience and expertise in groundwater investigations, management and impact assessment.
  • Developing groundwater assessments and drafting technical reports.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their challenges and provide trusted, practical advice.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of hydrogeologists, engineers, and environmental specialists.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Geoscience discipline or Environmental Sciences.
  • 2-5 years of professional hydrogeological experience (comparable experience will be considered).
  • Proven experience in consulting or the mining industry.
  • Site experience with hydrogeological investigations, dewatering operations, monitoring programs, drill supervision and/or water sampling.
  • A willingness to undertake fieldwork.
