Conservation and Heritage Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join our team as a Cultural Heritage Consultant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that support natural, cultural, and social resources.
As a Cultural Heritage Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in managing projects, conducting research and contributing to cultural heritage assessments, and supporting the preparation of technical reports and management documents.
The role also involves participating in site inspections, surveys, salvage, and excavations, undertaking Aboriginal community consultation activities, and analyzing and interpreting cultural finds.
Working closely with communities, clients, and industry professionals, you will develop technical and research expertise and gain hands-on experience in Indigenous and non-Indigenous heritage projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Degree qualified (minimum Honours) in archaeology, cultural heritage management, anthropology, or a related field
- Passion for Indigenous heritage (experience with non-Indigenous heritage is an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work in the field
- Honesty, authenticity, and commitment to continuous learning
- Desirable GIS skills
This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects across Australia and the opportunity to grow your skills and career. You will work through the Graduate Learning Program Development Plan (GLDP) with your supervisor and apply new skills in daily work while sharing knowledge with peers.
