Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to manage the inventory and distribution of supplies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, distributing supplies to departments, communicating with customers, and assisting in physical inventory counts.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
  • Distribute supplies to departments within established time guidelines.
  • Communicate with customers to coordinate product delivery and resolve issues.
  • Assist in weekly and annual physical inventory counts.
  • Charge and credit patient and departmental products as necessary.
  • Maintain electronic Pyxis machines by replenishing stations and refilling areas at critical low capacity.
  • Utilize web-based programs to order, request repairs, and pick up specialty equipment.
  • Perform daily rounds to collect soiled equipment and return it to the department for inspection and cleaning.
  • Responsible for the receipt, storage, and delivery of over-the-counter medications, plain IV fluids, and medical device kits.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in stock storage and clinical units, monitoring inventory levels, delivering items, and ensuring compliance with hospital safety and infection control guidelines.
