Animator

We are seeking a talented Animator to join our team.

Job Description:

As an experienced professional in the field of animation, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations with convincing performances and motion. You will have the ability to complete digi-double, creature, character or rigid body animation within our pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Create believable animation with convincing performances and motion for digi-doubles, creatures, characters or rigid bodies.
  • Meet project deadlines and work within schedules.
  • Collaborate with senior animators, leads and supervisors.
  • Support the growth and development of junior artists where applicable.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our pipeline and propose methodologies to benefit the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years CG animation experience in high-end live action VFX feature films.
  • Able to solve visual and analytical problems in 3D space and interpret 3D layouts and form.
  • Thorough knowledge of Maya.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and predicting potential problems with assigned tasks and cross-department issues.
  • Ability to mentor junior artists.
  • Experience contributing to a pipeline and bringing improvements to the team.
  • Showreel demonstrating high-end VFX animation work, including hero creatures, hero digi-doubles and advanced performance with flying, bipedal and motion capture elements.
