We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting systems and process-driven projects.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to take the next step, with proven experience in project coordination, financial analysis, and system implementation.
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple projects across various functions, including retail, operations, supply chain, and technology.
Your expertise will include collaboration with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. You will also engage with end users to understand current workflows, identify process gaps, and support the transition to improved systems and practices.
Furthermore, you will support the CFO and executive team in the evaluation, selection, and ongoing management of third-party vendors and consultants.
You will drive the collection of user requirements and process insights to support the planning and execution of project initiatives. Additionally, you will assist in delivering change management activities, including the development of training materials, delivery of workshops, and provision of go-live and hypercare support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing day-to-day aspects of multiple projects
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Engaging with end users to understand current workflows and identify process gaps
- SUPPORTING THE CFO AND EXECUTIVE TEAM IN EVALUATING THIRD-PARTY VENDORS
- Driving the collection of user requirements and process insights
- Assisting in delivering change management activities
- Coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT)
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 3-4 years' experience in a project/accounting role
- Tertiary qualification in finance and accounting
- Strong exposure to system implementations, ideally across WMS, PLM, or ERP systems
- Confident in gathering information, understanding operational workflows, and mapping requirements
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
