As a Construction Project Director, you will lead large-scale projects and oversee a team of project managers. Your primary focus will be on project execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality workmanship. To achieve this, you will need to have strong experience in construction project management, including cost control and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and planning construction projects across the company's portfolio.
  • Managing financial aspects of projects, including forecasting and variation management.
  • Overseeing construction activities, attending meetings, finalising contracts, arranging agreements, conducting project closeouts, and managing quality inspections.
  • Leading and motivating a team of project managers, providing clear direction, setting expectations, and delegating tasks effectively.

This is a mid-senior level role that requires flexibility to travel to regional locations for site meetings and inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction management methodology and principles, as well as qualifications in construction management or a related trade background.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to mentor and lead a team, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. They will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
