Design Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Project Lead to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with heavy involvement in the front-end process, liaisoning with clients, design teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and engage consultants to produce high-quality construction documentation.
  • Manage consultants and coordinate the documentation process to ensure timely delivery.
  • Run design meetings and follow up on issues raised by consultants to maintain project momentum.
  • Hand over documentation to the construction team and assist with design queries during construction to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships throughout the design and construction process to meet their expectations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a Design Management role, preferably with a head contractor.
  • Previous experience working on new build construction projects valued at $30M+ is advantageous.
  • Experience within ECI, Tender Phase, and Construction & Delivery Phase is desirable.
