Job Overview
A high-level management position is available within our Compliance Operations Unit, focusing on the safety and amenity of our municipality through information provision, assistance, and enforcement of laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in supervising teams, providing coaching, development plans, and performance feedback. They should also have a strong understanding of parking laws, evidence collection, note-taking, conflict resolution, and court procedures.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of parking officers, working towards achieving team objectives and contributing to service excellence in enforcement. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage conflicting priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of parking officers, guiding them towards achieving team goals.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with parking laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Analyze team performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current Australian driver's license (required).
  • Proven experience in leading people, including supervision, development planning, and feedback.
  • Strong knowledge of parking laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
