About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Management Solution Consultant to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality implementation services to our clients, ensuring that their investment management solutions meet their business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process, ensuring that their investment management solutions are configured and tuned to meet their business needs.
  • Analyze and evaluate client requirements to identify potential enhancements to our investment management solutions and services.
  • Document client requirements and workflows, and successfully transition clients to Technical Support and Relationship Management in preparation for go-live.
  • Monitor and evaluate client requirements to identify potential issues and risks, and provide regular project status updates to senior management.
  • Contribute to software quality by clearly communicating defects to Technical Support and Product Management, and support the defect resolution process.
  • Aid other members of the Professional Services team and proactively develop and share best practices, keeping abreast of new system versions, features, and trends in the finance industry.
  • Analyze and evaluate client requirements to help us respond to sales opportunities, and contribute to sales presentations and proof-of-concept projects.
Requirements
  • Proficient in investment solutions or technology, with experience supporting or implementing front, middle office investment management solutions within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm.
  • Basic understanding of investment management or wealth management workflows, including portfolio management, trading, compliance, IBOR, PMA, risk, and scenario analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of equity, fixed income, and FX instruments front and middle office workflows, with a basic understanding of derivatives and FX instruments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey plans, issues, and risks to clients and team members in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose complex issues into components and perform root cause analysis.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and meet self-imposed deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree from a leading university or college in finance, business/mathematical finance, economics, or computer science, with an advanced degree or industry certification such as the CFA a strong plus.
  • 2-3+ years of consulting experience in the financial/financial software services industry, with the ability to travel to client sites throughout the Asia Pacific and work effectively when remote from clients.
