About the Role

Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Analytics Manager to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our Investment Analytics function, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of industry-leading OCIO investment data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and lead data analytics solutions to enhance the management of risks and exposures across a range of single sector and multi-asset class investment portfolios.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for Investment Analytics that align with the organisation's broader business goals and investment objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their investment needs and requirements, and provide meaningful insights to inform decision-making.
  • Lead a team of circa 10 in an offshore capability, bringing them along a maturity model journey to meet the evolving needs of our business on shore.
  • Develop and implement investment analytics solutions, and/or work within/alongside such teams.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a numerical field (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computer Science) preferred.
  • 5+ years investment industry experience.
  • A solid understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and various asset classes.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively engaging with stakeholders to understand their investment needs and requirements.
  • Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
