Job Summary

EBS Restoration is seeking a skilled Weed Control Specialist to join our on-ground team in Adelaide, South Australia.

The successful applicant will perform various tasks including weed spraying, woody weed control, brush cutting, and revegetation. They will be trained in all equipment and techniques and work as part of a team with excellent communication skills and adaptability.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Woody weed removal, including feeding chipper.
  • Drill and fill of woody weed species.
  • Brush cutting.
  • Hand weeding and spraying herbicides (under supervision).
  • General maintenance tasks such as raking and shovelling.
  • Ensure Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) for own safety and colleagues and public.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualifications in Bushcare/Natural Resource/Environment Management or relevant experience.
  • Excellent native plant and weed identification skills.
  • Demonstrated team worker with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and knowledge of current trends in Bushcare and Environmental matters.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the use of bushcare tools such as brush cutters, chainsaws, and spray packs.
  • Full Pest Management Technicians Licence.
  • Current First Aid.
  • Chainsaw use and maintenance.
  • MR licence.
  • Current Work Zone Traffic Management Accreditation.
