Job Description

As a Weed Control Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking general weed control tasks including kerb line, footpath, cycle paths, and median spraying. You will also perform broad acre spraying and spraying of firebreaks, along with general maintenance tasks as required.

This role requires practical experience in weed spraying applications and knowledge of selection, mixing, and use of Herbicides and spray additives.

You must hold a current and valid Driver's licence and have a Chemical License/Spray Ticket or be willing to obtain prior. Additionally, a Pest Control License or willingness to obtain is required.

A White Card or willingness to obtain is also necessary.

Requirements
  1. Practical experience in weed spraying applications
  2. Knowledge of selection, mixing, and use of Herbicides and spray additives
  3. Current and valid Driver's licence
  4. Chemical License/Spray Ticket (or be willing to obtain prior)
  5. Pest Control License (or be willing to obtain prior)
  6. White Card (or be willing to obtain)
Desirable Skills
  • Cert III in Horticulture (or similar)
  • MR Truck Licence
  • WZTM (or be willing to obtain)
