Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Cyber Security Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the field of cyber security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and reporting on the compliance of personnel, ICT systems, processes, and frameworks within a cyber security context. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish and implement the Agency's cyber security compliance capability.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Two or more years of experience in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance.
  • Knowledge of and experience with relevant government security frameworks.
  • Knowledge and experience with enterprise information and cyber security processes, concepts, and best practice with an exposure to government cloud models.

Additional desirable criteria include:

  • CISSP/CISM or equivalent certifications are preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective reporting to executive management.
  • Demonstrated experience in adaptive leadership and collaboration and in challenging change environments.

Working arrangements can be negotiated with your line manager and may involve hybrid working arrangements in line with current agency policy (minimum of 3 days each week in the office, with flexible arrangements in place for the remaining 2 days). Office locations are Melbourne VIC and other nearby areas.
