In this exciting role, you will collaborate with our cyber security team to develop robust practices that deliver real business value. Based in Southbank, Victoria, you will work proactively to establish strong relationships with stakeholders and lead after-action reviews to strengthen cyber defence.

About the Team

We are responsible for leading strategy, architecture and risk approaches for cyber security across a diverse portfolio of businesses. We collaborate with our teams to embed forward-thinking cyber practices and coordinate incident response and intelligence activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage, investigate and document cyber incidents to ensure timely resolution and mitigate potential risks.
  • Support major event coordination and forensic analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to investigation playbooks and enhance incident response procedures to improve overall resilience.
  • Monitor internal data and external trends to assess threats and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage GCS Lab infrastructure and ensure compliance with technology and cyber security standards to maintain a secure environment.
Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Specialist with:

  • Proven ability to navigate complex environments and drive outcomes.
  • Experience in developing security operations and defence protocols in hybrid and cloud-centric environments.
  • Understanding of security technology including SIEM, EDR and Network security.
  • Knowledge and experience in protecting networks against malware and threat analysis concepts.
