The role of Senior Area Manager is a functional leader position that requires display values-driven leadership and aligning one's leadership with Executive Management to support a shared culture of unity, support, response, passion, and professionalism.

- Establishing both formal and informal professional relationships is crucial, requiring successfully building and maintaining rapport with and between stakeholders.

The Senior Area Manager must have relevant tertiary qualification in a Youth Work related field (e.g., Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Community Work, Child Protection etc.). Additionally, a relevant management qualification of at least a Cert IV in Business Management or equivalent experience engaging in available leadership development/training is required.
- Significant quality services experience is necessary.
- Experience and competency using MS suite are required, along with the ability to learn other programs.
- A valid driver's licence is mandatory.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Australia, hold an unrestricted driver's licence, and be willing to undergo state-specific checks, including working with children clearance and relevant qualifications.
