Job Title: Senior Executive Communications Leader

This is a senior executive role that oversees national communications, engagement and education functions. The successful candidate will lead strategies to build awareness of NDIS participant rights, strengthen provider capability and enhance the Commission's reputation as a trusted regulator.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute national communications and media campaigns to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee development of educational resources explaining obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct for providers and workers.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across governments and the disability sector.
  • Evaluate all communications for inclusivity and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
  • Identify opportunities for digital growth and enhance the Commission's communication approaches.


About You:
  • Proven experience in senior executive roles within communications, engagement or education ideally in regulatory or disability contexts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strategic influence and stakeholder management expertise.
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and the rights of people with disability.
