Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a 10-month contract basis in Perth CBD. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos, and Azure Data Fabric.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimising Azure SQL and Cosmos databases. They will also build and maintain Informatica pipelines between source systems and target databases. In addition, they will monitor, optimise, and secure database environments to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure SQL and Cosmos databases.
  • Build and manage Informatica data pipelines between source systems and target databases.
  • Monitor, optimise, and secure database environments.

This role requires a high level of expertise in database administration and design. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in database administration and design.
  • Strong experience in Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos, and Azure Data Fabric.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
