Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our high-performing on-site team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and integrating hybrid infrastructure environments, spanning on-premises systems, AVS (Azure VMware Solution), and Azure native services.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major transformation journey, supporting cloud adoption and modern workplace environments, including Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert Level 3 support across Windows Server and cloud platforms.
  2. Administer and maintain hybrid infrastructure: on-prem, AVS, and Azure-native.
  3. Integrate services with third-party providers including WAN and secure internet gateways.
  4. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across SIAM-aligned processes.
  5. Partner with the service desk and desktop teams to support a modern M365 environment.
  6. Support infrastructure transformation aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and hub-and-spoke topologies.
  7. Contribute to application services management and virtual server optimisation.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016–2022
  • Strong hands-on expertise in the Azure Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency with VMware environments
  • Knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • Azure networking and hub-and-spoke topology
  • Virtual server management and application services
  • Familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Power Automate
  • Certifications: MS900, MS102, AZ900, AZ104
  • NV1 Security Clearance
