Senior Civil Engineer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of highly skilled engineers and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects across various sectors, including defence, health, energy, and commercial.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will have the autonomy to manage ongoing communication with clients, proactively determine project scope, and ensure timely and quality delivery in accordance with relevant technical, commercial, and regulatory standards.

  • Key qualifications include:

Civil Engineering Expertise: A Bachelor to Masters' level degree in Civil Engineering, chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable), and excellent expertise in civil engineering and design documentation, including roads, carparks, public realm, earthworks, stormwater, and utility coordination.

Industry Experience: Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes, solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, and expertise in effectively delivering multiple concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector.

Collaboration and Communication: Sound client-facing and relationship management skills, adept in cross-discipline project delivery, and proficiency with AutoCAD and 12D or Civil3D.

Additional Requirements: Knowledge of DRAINS and MUSIC software, as well as highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
