Procurement Category Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Marketing portfolio and generating best sustainable value for the business through a strategic procurement approach consistent with Lion Inc values and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a Procurement strategy for all categories in the role scope, addressing short- and long-term implications.
- Implement the above strategy to deliver value to the business and ensure continuity of supply while doing the right thing for the long term.
- Focus on developing both internal and external relationships to drive strong business partnering and supplier connectivity.
- Manage the assigned portfolio of categories as required, consulting key stakeholders to work through projects or issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement role (preferably some experience in marketing)
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, contract development, supplier management, and procurement metrics reporting
- Proven understanding of professional services and how Procurement can aid successful business outcomes through the strategic management of these categories.
