Job Description

The Communication and Activity Coordinator plays a pivotal role within our organisation, working cross-functionally to drive internal communication and support the implementation of trade plans and other activities impacting store operations.

This role involves providing strategic input to help drive and support the implementation of trade plans and communication of other activities impacting store operations. You will work closely with key business leaders to validate the operational direction provided in communications and ensure alignment to business strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on how to best engage teams with activity, trading, and change initiatives
  • Writing, editing, and producing a wide range of consistent and effective communication materials
  • Championing store activity planning to ensure initiatives are delivered and land right first time
  • Engaging with Trade Planning, Marketing, Merchandise, and Store Operations teams to manage change initiatives and national rollouts
  • Ensuring all activity is planned effectively, monitoring progress, and timelines with progress back to owners and operational teams
  • Building strong partnerships within Central Operations, along with Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Merchandise, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure messaging is aligned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • High attention to detail, along with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • High level of discretion with confidential information
  • Previous retail communications experience is highly preferred
