Job Title:

Enablement Specialist: Risk and Compliance

Our Business Banking Framework & Insights team seeks a highly experienced enablement specialist to foster a proactive risk and compliance culture.

This key role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to embed strong risk management practices, provide strategic guidance, and support alignment with Group frameworks.

The successful candidate will play a critical part in embedding robust risk management practices and enabling effective execution of business strategy through the uplift and application of non-financial risk frameworks and Top of House processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Represent our interests in the design, uplift, and implementation of non-financial risk frameworks, including Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and Compliance Management Framework (CMF).
  2. Support delivery of framework enhancements, guidance, and tools to drive consistent application across Business Banking teams.
  3. Manage the Business Banking Top of House risk profile, coordinate inputs across Business Banking to ensure accurate representation of our risk environment.
  4. Collaborate with Business Banking stakeholders to effectively manage risks and compliance obligations, ensuring they are appropriately addressed and mitigated.
  5. Detect and formulate responses to changes in the internal and external risk landscape that may impact the risk profile.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in risk and compliance enablement, particularly within non-financial risk frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage and uplift risk frameworks and drive consistent adoption across diverse teams.
  • Experience with RCSA and CSA processes, including governance and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at senior levels.
  • A proactive mindset and passion for embedding strong risk management practices.
