Procurement Specialists Required

We are seeking two skilled procurement specialists to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and values-driven organization.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in procurement, with experience working in a busy team within a complex organization. They will be able to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure value for money across diverse projects, while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and council policies and procedures.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing competing priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Operating within a matrix organization compliant with legislation and competitive practices;
  • Supporting process improvements and developing strategic category management plans;
  • Driving behavioral change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Successful candidates will possess resilience and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and decision-makers. They will enjoy multi-tasking and roles with variety, where no two days or projects are the same.

Requirements
  • A relevant degree or tertiary qualification;
  • Experience in a busy procurement team within a complex organization;
