Sustainable Procurement Specialist - We are seeking a skilled professional to work with us in embedding sustainable procurement practices at our institution.

The Role:
  • Embed sustainable procurement practices and ensure suppliers implement environmentally friendly processes.
  • Provide accurate data to help us maximize and measure our positive impact throughout our purchasing activities.
  • Influence and build strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply an in-depth understanding of sustainability and sustainable procurement practices in a cross-functional environment.
  • Work proactively, independently, and as part of a team to influence and build strong relationships.
  • Identify areas where Procurement can add value in terms of sustainable solutions.

Directorate / Function: Our finance, human resources, and infrastructure department plays a critical role in shaping and supporting our institution's strategic and operational success.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 22.2 hours per week with a starting salary of £29,681 per annum (60% pro rata to £49,468 per annum).

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
