Job Overview
The Performance and Engagement Lead is a pivotal role that supports leaders and employees through the processes of contribution and development plans (CDPs) and engagement surveys. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in enhancing employee performance and engagement.
About the Role
This role will involve managing the entire people performance review cycle, including project managing goal setting, check-in conversations, and end-of-cycle reviews. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the company's goals, vision, and desired culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee performance and engagement
- Liaise with teams on system enhancements and educate leaders and employees on best practices
- Collaborate with the strategy team to ensure employee goals are aligned with the company's vision
- Design and lead engagement surveys, working with stakeholders to create meaningful questions, drive participation, and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Promote understanding of performance frameworks, systems, and expectations among leaders and employees
- Partner with teams within and outside of People and Culture to foster a culture of continuous improvement and engagement in our programs
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management and a keen interest in enhancing employee performance and engagement
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and confidently
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in systems management, with a focus on optimising performance tools
- Passionate about developing others and fostering a collaborative work environment
