About this role we are seeking a Water Quality Specialist to join our team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting water samples, conducting field tests and reporting anomalies to the Project Coordinator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting water samples according to Australian Standards.
  • Conducting field tests to ensure results are within water quality acceptance criteria.
  • Preparing daily field reports and submitting them within 24 hours of sampling.
  • Arranging all field consumables, sampling media and equipment as required for each job.
  • Preparing Job Safety Analysis' (JSA's) and risk assessments as required for each allocated job.

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualifications in Chemistry, Environmental Science or other relevant fields.
  • Demonstrable technical skills within the mining sector with previous experience as a Field Sampling Technician.
  • Previous experience in customer service and liaising with clients.
  • C class manual licence
  • 4WD training
  • Senior First Aid
