At Origin Energy, we believe in creating change. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the procurement of goods and services aligns with market capabilities to deliver optimal cost, quality, and commercial outcomes.

About the Role
  • Provide expert advice and deliver rigorous procurement processes to ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
  • Lead the delivery of sourcing activities in line with category plans and business requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to inform contracting strategies and understand market insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies that meet business needs while minimising risk and ensuring full compliance with procurement policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance effectively and identify issues, assess risks, and develop practical solutions in dynamic environments.
  • Leverage opportunities and eliminate duplicated effort across Asset Services.
  • Support Contract Owners with post-award escalations, disputes, and complex contract variations.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures, driving optimal HSE performance in supplier selection and management.
