Procurement Expert Job Opportunity

This role involves contributing to the end-to-end procurement process with a focus on analytics, compliance, and strategic sourcing.

About the Role
  • Promote cost optimisation and ESG initiatives by delivering indirect procurement strategies across various categories.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost modelling.
  • Manage RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier contracts for end-to-end efficiency.
  • Provide in-depth procurement analytics and reporting on spend, savings, KPIs, and supplier risk.
  • Support supplier relationship management, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring.
  • Drive operational excellence through procurement systems, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed procurement best practices, policies, and processes.
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field is essential.
  • 2-4 years' experience in indirect procurement or commercial sourcing, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience with eProcurement platforms, such as Coupa, Zycus, Tenderlinks, or Global Rapid.
  • Familiarity with ESG, sustainability, supplier diversity, and modern slavery compliance.
  • A high level of organisation, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and cost-conscious mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
