Project Overview
As a Project Manager with Duratec Australia, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of construction, refurbishment, and remediation projects from initial setup through to completion. This will involve ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements, effective cost control, and efficient project running.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction, refurbishment, and remediation projects from initial setup to completion
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provision of advice on technical and engineering issues
- Liaise with clients to ensure projects run to program
- Involvement in tendering and estimation
- Raise RFIs and track responses
Requirements
- Prior experience in leading and completing multiple construction, refurbishment, and remediation projects
- Experience working with tier 2 clientele
- Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven ability to influence stakeholder relationships
- Self-management of workload and project efficiency
- Proven problem-solving capability with approachable leadership style
- Excellent attention to detail and prioritisation of deadlines
- Natural leadership with a willingness to develop people and achieve delivery targets
