About the Role:

As an NDIS Support Worker, you will provide support to people with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals of community participation, skill development, and increased independence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support participants in developing daily living skills
  • Encourage engagement in activities while respecting participant needs and promoting personal choice
  • Develop community access support plans in consultation with the participant's Support Coordinator
Requirements:
  • Commitment to The Salvation Army's mission and values
  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability/Mental Health or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting people with disabilities

This role requires flexibility, a high level of initiative, and strong work ethic. You must be able to interact positively with a variety of people, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to operate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
