This role is pivotal in providing holistic nursing care to individuals throughout their journey with a specialist AOD service.

Our team delivers comprehensive and high-quality health care services, catering to the diverse needs of participants.

About this Position
  • Conducting thorough clinical observations, including withdrawal assessment using relevant tools, to inform patient-centered care.
  • Providing support for primary health care within the specialist AOD service, encompassing low-medical interventions, such as medication administration and basic wound care.
  • Developing personalized health-related treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the broader team.
What We Are Looking For
  • Degree or equivalent in Nursing, accompanied by a current Div 1 certificate.
  • Substantial experience in AOD sector service delivery, demonstrating understanding of addictive behavior and various substances.
  • Proven skills in triage, medical assessment, decision-making, and providing timely and appropriate nursing interventions during crisis situations.
  • Competence in infection control procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
