Job Title: Community Fundraising Manager

This role is responsible for leading community fundraising initiatives in Australia, driving growth and expansion through national campaigns and local partnerships.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of specialists to achieve income growth targets through strategic planning and grassroots engagement.
  • Build and sustain relationships with schools, workplaces, and community groups to drive fundraising activities.
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies and account management frameworks to increase retention and acquisition.
  • Oversee budgets, reporting, and planning for the community fundraising portfolio, ensuring compliance with governance standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of six Community Fundraising Specialists.
  2. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders to drive fundraising activities.
  3. Drive acquisition, retention, and income growth through national campaigns and local initiatives.
  4. Develop and implement engagement strategies and account management frameworks.
  5. Oversee budgets, reporting, and planning for the community fundraising portfolio.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in community fundraising within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach geographically dispersed teams.
  • A blend of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery at the grassroots level.
  • Track record of achieving income growth, acquisition, and retention targets.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
