About You:
  • Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of older adults, providing personalized care and support.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Engage effectively with clients and their families, building trust and rapport.
  • Organisational Skills: Proficiency in managing time and supporting clients with their daily routines, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Accommodate varying client needs and preferences, responding to changing circumstances.

Minimum qualifications required include:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent.
  • Current National Police Certificate.
  • Current driver licence and your own, reliable vehicle.
  • Completion of Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain).
  • Completion of Recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain).
