The Role

This 14 month fixed term contract role involves ensuring all financial information is accurately collected, analysed, interpreted and reported in a timely manner. The primary responsibilities include month-end close tasks, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, internal project reporting and assistance with statutory tax & financial reporting obligations.

You will perform various tasks such as:

  • Performing month-end financial accounting tasks, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting with month-end P&L and balance sheet variance analysis.
  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts, including preparation of audit work papers and audit requests.
  • Assisting with tax reporting obligations, including FBT, Workers Compensation and preparation of monthly BASs.
  • Preparation of externally funded projects reporting and holding meetings with project managers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • CPA/CA qualification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Great Plains, or similar applications.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
