Multidisciplinary Team Leader

This is a highly sought-after position that requires a dynamic and results-driven leader to spearhead our multidisciplinary team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Defence Social Workers, education specialists, Family Liaison Officers, administrative staff, and Military Support Officers.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to work independently in alignment with our defined strategic direction. They will be confident in communicating expected outcomes and possess strong people skills to lead a high-performing and cohesive team.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of complex problem-solving and issues management, with the ability to engage in evidence-based decision-making under pressure.
- Engage with ADF Commanding Officers to support and manage ADF members under their command.
- Form positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Think strategically and make evidence-based decisions under pressure.
- Manage military, APS and contracted staff in line with relevant workplace agreements, provisions and policies.
