We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Policy Officer to join our team and contribute to the development of policy and legislation within the Attorney-General's portfolio.
- This role involves coordinating, developing, implementing, reviewing and reforming policy and legislation across the Attorney-General's portfolio.
- The successful candidate will provide considered, informed and authoritative advice to senior executives and government on key policy and legislation issues and system reform issues.
The ideal candidate will have legal policy and/or relevant criminal legal practice experience, with the ability to analyse complex policy and/or legal issues, interpret legislation and provide accurate legal solutions.
Key qualifications include a relevant tertiary qualification in Law and excellent communication skills, both in writing and orally.
