The Proximity Legal team is rapidly growing and seeking Senior Government Lawyers. Bring your expertise and broaden your experience through diverse commercial exposures.

Working with a range of clients, these are dynamic roles where every day you have the opportunity to:

  • Advise on commercial legal matters in a complex, fast paced environment
  • Deliver on matters of national importance
  • Work directly with our Commonwealth clients to help design, develop and deliver solutions supporting them to build internal capability
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the client organisation
  • Build your legacy - share your knowledge while also learning and growing your career

You would bring:

  • 5+ years' Commercial law experience, preferably within a government environment
  • A desire to work closely with your client
  • Adaptability and responsiveness - alert to the government environment
  • Experience leading and developing others
  • A current Legal Practising Certificate (or the ability to reinstate one)
  • An Australian Government security clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
