**Lawyers - Administrative Law/Commercial Law**:
We currently have an opportunity within a Commonwealth Department that is seeking two lawyers (Associate / Senior Associate level) experienced in administrative law and / or commercial law to work for a newly established regulator on a diverse range of legal matters.
**$780 to $1120 daily rate including super** Canberra location
Lawyers (Associate / Senior Associate) - Administrative Law/Commercial Law - $780 to $1120 daily rate including super - initial 5 month contract with the possibility of extension - Canberra location
**The Role**
We currently have an opportunity within a Commonwealth Department that is seeking two lawyers (Associate / Senior Associate level) experienced in administrative law and / or commercial law to work for a newly established regulator on a diverse range of legal matters.
**The Responsibilities**
- Providing legal advice and legal policy support to client areas;
- Preparing public-facing guidance material for a newly established best practice scheme (**Scheme**);
- Assisting with Dataplace and data sharing agreement project work under the Scheme; and
- Supporting the development of legislative instruments, such as codes and ministerial rules.
**The Requirements**
A current practising certificate and demonstrated experience in administrative law and / or commercial law with experience in a Commonwealth Government setting is desirable.
