IT Field Support Specialist

This role is focused on providing top-notch technical support and infrastructure maintenance for our end-users. The IT department spans the APAC region and globally, with this position based at our headquarters in Southbank, Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional support for end-users and perform daily infrastructure maintenance
- Assist with building and infrastructure projects requiring hands-on involvement at specific sites
- Handle inventory management, including PCs, tablets, mobile phones, and responsible disposal or reuse where possible
- Manage meeting rooms, printers, and network patches
- Create and maintain site-specific documentation
- Ensure all sites adhere to Vestas Global standards
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the rest of the IT organization to fulfill the role's requirements
- Install network devices and perform server services
- Proactively detect and report any issues with local site infrastructure to the relevant team or project to ensure sites within responsibility are maintained and meet Vestas standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience with Windows clients and iOS mobile platforms
- Background working in a global corporate environment with standardized client infrastructure
- Familiarity with network equipment, cabling, and wireless networks
- Understanding of maintaining configuration/programs and keeping documentation up-to-date
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience working in production environments
- Ability to document work in ticket systems (e.g., Servicenow) and create site documentation
