Job Title: Experienced Educator Needed for a 5-Year-Old Child

This position involves caring for a 5-year-old child who requires someone kind and calm to create engaging and educational opportunities during the day. The ideal candidate will have the skills to cope with complex needs and encourage the child to participate in age-appropriate activities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing daily care, including assisting with morning routines, facilitating learning activities, and supporting the child through emotional challenges. They will also need to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or a Bachelor's degree in Teaching (Early Years or Primary) and registration with the relevant state teaching authority board.
  • At least 3 years of experience in childcare, with professional references.
  • Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, CPR certification, and Level 2 First Aid.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A commitment to working at least 12 months.
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Flexibility is essential, as the family may require additional hours during school holidays. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their ability to work independently and as part of a team.
