Reliability & Maintenance Planner Administrator

This critical role is responsible for planning and administration to ensure maintenance activities run smoothly, support equipment reliability, and minimize downtime to optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules in alignment with production plans to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance work plans to ensure resources, parts, and permits are available to meet operational requirements.
  • Create, update, and close work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintaining accurate asset history and parts usage records.
  • Track and report on asset reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), assisting with root cause analysis and improvement actions to enhance overall performance.
  • Manage maintenance documentation, contractor compliance, and service contracts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) compliance by ensuring all maintenance activities meet legislative and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate spare parts availability and inventory requirements with the Procurement department.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in maintenance planning, administration, or coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural/packing environment.
  • Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite to efficiently manage tasks and data.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles to identify areas for improvement.
  • Working knowledge of WHS requirements in an industrial setting to ensure a safe working environment.
  • A trade qualification or engineering background in mechanical or electrical fields is highly desirable.
