As a seasoned Operations Leader, you will be responsible for leading the completion of works for multiple concurrent projects safely, on time, to contract specification, and to budget.

About the Role
  • Maintain high levels of productivity through day-to-day planning of resources and labour.
  • Monitor job progress and control costs to ensure business profitability.
  • Evaluate project costings and methodology before submitting quotes/tenders.
  • Ensure adherence to our health and safety standards and systems.

You will lead a team of skilled tradespeople, overseeing daily activities and ensuring seamless execution of commercial painting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale commercial painting projects across multiple sites.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  3. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize business performance.
  4. Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Trade qualified painter with extensive commercial experience.
  • Proven track record of managing small teams and coordinating concurrent projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess budgeted hours and costs of projects.
  • Ability to complete documentation electronically.
  • Supervising safety compliance and enforcing best practices.
  • Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring on-site performance, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coaching/training painters to enhance their skills and productivity.
