**Job Opportunity: Work Health Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced Work Health Specialist to join our team. This full-time position is based in Perth and involves driving a safety-first culture across different sites and projects.

Our company specialises in providing high-quality maintenance solutions to various industries, including mining, construction, civil, and transport.

As a Work Health Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, policies, procedures, and systems. You will also promote our core values of safety, quality services, and excellence throughout the business.

The role involves managing all work health and safety aspects of our operations, including promoting a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and clients. You will liaise with client site representatives to provide support and conduct joint risk assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all work health and safety aspects of our operations
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, policies, procedures, and systems
  • Promoting a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and clients
  • Liaising with client site representatives to provide support and conduct joint risk assessments

Requirements include:

  • Cert IV in WHS, HSE or equivalent
  • Proven previous experience in a WHS role or similar for a minimum of 2 years
  • Ability to identify and implement effective WHS initiatives across the business
  • Proactive approach to creating a team focus to WHS with practical real-world experience

Preferred skills and qualifications include:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all relevant acts and regulations
  • Client and employer focused / Safety conscious / Diligent attitude
  • Motivation to drive continuous improvement and think outside the box

This is a permanent opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team within the Mining & Civil Industries. The successful applicant will have a Cert IV in WHS, HSE or equivalent, and proven previous experience in a WHS role or similar. They will be proactive, motivated, and committed to promoting a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
